Students experienced the wonder and awe of Science-Chemistry through being immersed in experiments as part of BASF Kids Lab day at University of Auckland.
There was a big buzz with students talking about molecules, chemical reactions and mixing of liquids and solids. Through one of the experiments students could visualize and see the results of UV rays on UV Color-Changing beads. Mixing PVA glue and Borax to create slimy balls was a fascinating moment.
Some of the students acknowledged that science was fun and they would like to study more about Chemistry at University. The laboratory facilitators were very encouraging and supportive.
