We are a Decile 4  Christ centred community committed to the education and development of the whole person in a Catholic environment. If you want high achievement, values based education for your child and a Christian philosophy on life, St Joseph's is the place for you. Our school offers an education for primary school pupils (boys from Year 0 to Year 6 and girls Year 0 to Year 8).

 We value the size of our school as we feel it enables people to know one another well. St Joseph’s is small in size, but we are mighty in spirit! 

 Our motto is 'Serving with Faith and Love'.

Throughout the school community there is a strong sense of family, warmth, caring and spirituality. Gospel values are at the centre of the life of our school family and our curriculum. Our commitment to the Gospel values has meant that we care for those in need. This is part of our Josephite tradition, and the St Joseph’s Sisters who first started our school in 1884. Their motto which we continue is ‘Never see a need without doing something about it'.

Help our school to win $1000.

We have entered the scarecrow competition at Gardenco Plant Market on Great North Road in Grey Lynn.  The school with the most votes for their scarecrow wins $1000 in cash.  We need every adult you can find to vote for us before 4pm Thursday 24 May.  Just go into the store and cast your vote for us. The scarecrow represents us all and we are proud of our children's efforts in creating it.   Take your family and friends.  Let them know we need their help on your facebook page, texting them or by telling them.  Our value for this term is 'Do your bit'.  Now is your chance to have many, many people do their bit.
