Enrolment

Welcome to St Joseph's School, Grey Lynn. We are an inner-city State-Integrated school. Our mission statement is "St Joseph's School is a Christ Centred Catholic Community on a journey of building Learning and Faith".

We hope that your association with our school is a long and prosperous one. In order for us to accept your enrolment we need the following information:

1. Birth Certificate or Passport. If not a NZ resident we will need to sight the Passport with appropriate visa status. We may also need to sight parent's passport.
2. Completed enrolment form
3. Completed dental form
4. Hearing and Vision consent form
5. Immunisation Certificate
6. All Preference enrolments need to be signed by your Parish Priest
7. Completed Student computer and internet agreement
8. Completed "Outings to local venues" form
9. If required - After School Care form/ Study Support Centre form.

Also included in the enrolment pack is some useful information for you to read.

To ensure your child's enrolment at our school, we require the payment of $95.00 per child  This amount is paid for each of the 4 terms during the year. We also ask for a Special Character donation of $40.00 for the year. We welcome Attendance Dues being paid by automatic payment. An automatic authority is available to cover Attendance Dues payments.

The Ministry of Education has determined the following dates for 2012:

TERMS.  Term 1 - Thursday 2nd February 8.50am to Thusday 5th  April
Term 2 - Monday 23 April  to Friday 29th June 

Term 3 - Monday 16th July  to  21st September
Term 4 - Monday 15th October to  Tuesday 18 th December .

HOLIDAYS. First holidays 6th April -  22nd April. Easter  Good Friday 6th  April - Easter Tuesday 10th April.

Anzac Day -  Wednesday 25th April.  . Term 2.  Week 1

Second holidays - 30 July-15th July.  

Term 2. Queens BIrthday  Monday 4th June Week 7.

Third holidays- 22nd September -14th October.

Term 4 Labour weekend 22nd October. Week 2
